At HireQuest, you will be provided a professional and comfortable interviewing environment for meeting and interviewing with hiring managers from each company. There is no pre-registration required, however upon arrival you will be asked to provide us a copy of your resume and complete a short registration form. HireQuest events are also free for all candidates. Hundreds of job seekers have found that HireQuest is the most effective way to interview with hundreds of different companies, and quickly. However, be sure to prepare yourself before attending the event to achieve greater results. Outlined below are a number of tips for getting the most out of our events. These tips should allow you to see more companies and hopefully land your next career! GENERAL SUGGESTIONS Use the event to research new industries. Most companies don't expect you to be knowledgeable of them and their products, so don't be afraid to inquisitively approach each company. Don't be shy. Be sure to be assertive by walking up and introducing yourself. You may have to wait in line to see certain "high-demand" companies, but most companies will be immediately available. Note: Be careful not to wait in lines too long or you may miss many other great opportunities. Sell yourself. Remember, there are a lot of other great candidates interviewing with each company. What sets you apart? Be prepared to briefly discuss your accomplishments and goals, and most importantly, why a career in Sales or Management is for you. FOLLOWING THE EVENT Due to the nature of our events, most of our clients expedite their hiring process and move more quickly than usual through the interview process. Therefore, be sure to follow up immediately with each company you are interested in interviewing with - especially if they asked you to follow up. (Some companies will wait to see if you follow up on your own initiative, as sort of a challenge, so don't delay.) Also, be sure to contact any companies listed in the career guide that you may have missed at the event.
